Providence inked a first-of-its-kind deal with Boeing to provide health care direct to its employees through an accountable care model. As part of the contract Providence was tasked to develop a web portal to help enable improved access and a better experience for its members. Key features were to include provider and location directories, and access to electronic medical records. Failure to hit key milestones would result in steep financial penalties for Providence.
Clarity Marketing Communications was tapped to spearhead branding, partner marketing engagement, web site development and messaging for the Boeing web portal. Development was complicated due, in part, to the involvement of eight partner medical groups, each operating different instances of electronic medical records. Clarity Marketing Communications directed and engaged a variety of cross-functional teams to ensure the portal was easy-to-use, on-message, and ultimately a delightful experience for members.
The result? A beautifully designed, easy-to-use, integrated web portal was delivered ahead of schedule, exceeding Boeing’s expectations and that of Providence senior leadership.
